Research Scientist
/ Senior Developer
Viatronix
Inc. is accepting applications for the position of a
Research Scientist /Sr. Developer located for our location
in Stony Brook, NY.
Position Overview
- Design,
develop and validate algorithms for medical image
processing/visualization;
- Develop
and deliver final software product for medical image
visualization;
-
Generate
and maintain proper project documentation compliant
to certain regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum
of two years in a research/development capacity
for image processing and visualization;
- Advanced
knowledge of medical image processing and visualization;
-
Familiarity with the state-of-the-art technology
such as image segmentation, pattern recognition,
and 3D rendering;
- Working
knowledge of methods and tools for verification
and validation of imaging devices or software.
Educational
Requirements:
- Masters
Degree or above (PhD preferred) in Computer Science,
Electrical Engineering, Math, or Physics.
Required
Skills:
- Knowledge
of C++, C#, MS Visual Studio, MS .Net and MS Office
- Extensive
skill in C++ coding
- Develop
and initialize new algorithms for image processing
and visualization

* Windows development experience.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft tools and platforms.
* Strong communication skills.
